Olson

Willie Curtis Rupert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willie [Louisa Augusta Borg] Olson of South Marion, Iowa, was called to the world beyond on January 7, 1913, after a brief illness of pneumonia that ended his existence on earth. He stayed with his people but a little while, for his age was at his departure but 15 years, 8 months, and 9 days.

He was a faithful attendant of the Sunday school of which he had been a member ever since a little boy, he was also a member of the catechism class in which he took a great delight, and he often longed for it during his sickness.

Now since he is gone, he shall be missed by his classmates and teachers, but most of all he shall be missed by his parents and sisters besides a large number of relatives and friends. May God comfort them all.

The funeral services took place last Friday in South Marion church, the text selected for the occasion John 16: 16. The large floral tribute bestowed is an evidence of the friendship he had gained during his short stay on earth.
