OBITUARY
Nelson

A.J. Nelson of Big Springs, Nebr., a brother of the late N.F. Teander of this place, was interred here Friday afternoon of last week in the South Marion cemetery, following funeral services which were conducted by Rev. Edwin Sahlen, pastor of the South Marion M.E. church.

Deceased formerly lived here many years ago and there are many here who remembered him.

A.J. Nelson was born in Vastra Harg, Sweden, April 23, 1837. He came to this country in 1881 and for a number of years made his home in this section of Iowa, moving to Big Springs, Nebr., where he took up a claim and at which place he lived until he was taken to the Saint Francis hospital at Grand Island, Nebr., about four weeks ago. He was afflicted with cancer which was the cause of his demise. He passed away Monday, Nov. 24, 1924, at the ripe old age of 87 years, 7 months and 1 day.

He leaves to mourn his passing, one sister in Sweden, several nephews and nieces here and in Sweden and many friends in the vicinity of Big Springs, Nebr., two sisters and two brothers in this country.

Mr. Nelson was an earnest Christian and often during his long period of suffering desired to leave this life and to be with Christ.

Before shipment here a service was held over the remains at Big Springs, Nebr.
