Services Held For John Lucas Lundquist

John Lucas Lundquist, son of Gustav and Anna (Hanson) Lundquist was born on the farm where he was living at the time of his death. He was born October 18, 1875, and passed away June 18, 1962 at the Boone County Hospital. He had been in poor health for a number of years. For the past 41 years he had made his home with his brother Gust on the farm one half mile east of the South Marion Methodist Church.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his brother Gust, a sister, Mrs. John Melberg [Malmberg], of Boone, three nieces and five nephews.

His funeral was held in the Hanson Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. D.L. Draper and burial was in South Marion Cemetery, Wednesday, June 20. Pallbearers were: Floyd Swedlund, Carl Soder, Leonard McVicker, Fabian Peterson, Oscar Peterson and Earl Patterson.
