Adolph Henry Lindquist, 85, Boone, died January 16, 1985, at the Boone County Hospital. He was born March 16, 1899 in Stockholm, Sweden. He married Edith Borg in May of 1941.

Lindquist was a member of the Swedish Army before coming to the United States. He moved to Boone from California in 1980.

Survivors include his wife, Edith of Boone; five step-grandchildren, Lorraine Johnson of Fort Bragg, California, Richard Hayes, Hallister, California, Gene Hayes, Bondurant and Patti Crim and Frances East, both of Stanhope.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Stark-Welin Chapel with the Rev. Richard Russell officiating. Burial was in the South Marion Cemetery.
