Lindquist Rites To Be Sunday at Stratford Church

STRATFORD - Funeral services for Emanuel Lindquist, 73, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Stratford Lutheran Church with Rev. Robert Carlson officiating and with burial in South Marion Cemetery.

Mr. Lindquist died Friday morning at the Hamilton County Hospital.

The body will lie in state at the Hanson Funeral Home until shortly before the time of services.

He is survived by one sister-in-law, Hala Lindquist of Buille, Idaho, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Lindquist had resided in the Stratford community all his life and engaged in farming for many years.

Services Held for Emanuel Lindquist, 73

Funeral services were held for Emanuel Lindquist, 73 of Stratford at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 17 in the Stratford Lutheran Church.

The Rev. Robert Carlson officiated. Burial was in the South Marion Cemetery with the Hanson Funeral Home of Stratford in charge.

Mr. Lindquist was a longtime Stratford resident and retired farmer. He was taken to the hospital Wednesday, November 11 when he was found in his home after he apparently fell. He passed away Friday at the Hamilton County Hospital in Webster City.

There are no immediate survivors. A sister-in-law, Hala Lindquist lives in Utah.
