MRS. EVA LARSON LAID TO REST AT STRATFORD

Was born in Sweden, August 17, 1878. Came to this city in year 1886. Was united in marriage to P.W. Larson in 1903 and to this union three children were born.

Funeral services for the late Mrs. P.W. Larson were held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 oclock from the residence, 116 Carroll and at 2 o'clock from the First Baptist Church. The Rev. E.A. Seymour had charge of the services and spoke words of comfort and condolence to the sorrowing family.

The pallbearers were Frank Sunstrom, Andrew Anderson, Jr., V.P. Peterson, Henry Johnson, Fred Jensen, and Alfred Gustafson. The remains were taken to Stratford to the Olson cemetery for burial.

Life Sketch

Mrs. Eva Alfrida Larson was born in Sweden, August 17, 1878, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gust Larson. The family emigrated to the United States and the daughter first came to Boone county in 1886.

She lived practically all of her life in this city. At an early age she was united to the Baptist church and she was always an active worker for the good of her church. In 1903 she was united in marriage to P.W. Larson of this city and three daughters, who survive, were born to this union, Edith, 16 years old, Margaret, 11; and Elda, 7.

The husband, the father who lives at Ayrshire, Ia., four brothers and four sisters, survive. The brothers are Harry, Ernest and Paul of Ayrshire and Charles of Stanhope. The sisters are Mrs. Ellen Lind of Stratford, Mrs. Edith Chellstrom of Gowrie, Mrs. Ruth Trigg of Lorenz, and Mrs. Elsie Salle of Missouri. Her mother preceded her in death 13 years.

Many friends in this city mourn her departure.
