Cindy Lorenzen, 50, formerly of Webster City, died Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice House in Fort Dodge. Her funeral service will be held Monday, October 3, 2016, 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Webster City with Rev. Mark Eichler officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. A visitation will be held Sunday from 2 - 4 PM at Boman Funeral Home in Webster City. www.bomanfh.com

Cindy was born on March 24, 1966 in Webster City, to Garold and Sharon (Ruffridge) Lorenzen. She attended school in Webster City, graduating from the Webster City High School in 1984. She began her career working with children at St. Paul's Pre-School and Riverview Child Care in Webster City. Then seventeen years ago she moved to Underwood, Iowa and started working at Little Blessings Childcare in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Webster City. Cindy loved to read, work word find books and cruise the internet. "Miss Cindy" was well liked by her co-workers, parents and the many 3-5 year-old children she has cared for over the years.

Cindy will be lovingly remembered by: her mother; three brothers: Bret & Eric both of Webster City, Daniel (Laura) of San Jose, California; nieces: Lexi of Iowa, and Kate of California; nephews: Dylan of Illinois and Michael of California; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father; her grandparents; two uncles and one aunt.
