Gary A. Park, 73, was born September 4, 1942 to Marian and Vivien Park in Webster City, Iowa. He passed away peacefully on June 29, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Gary was retired but previously worked as a truck driver at Master Halco Fence Company for 16 years and Easter Grocery Store. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Gary enjoyed NASCAR, the Hawkeyes and especially spending time with his family.

Gary is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ardys; sons, Scott Park and Todd (Kim) Park; granddaughters, Jordan and Abigale; sisters, Sandra Payne, Sue (Kyle) Hoover and Leah (Terry) Jones; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Gary was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Park.

A private family interment took place at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Polk County Chaplain program in loving memory of Gary.
