OBITUARY

Carl Oscar Hultgren

Carl Oscar Hultgren, born in Alingsås, Västergötland, Sweden, December 1, 1855, departed this life on Friday, September 3, 1926, at the age of 79 years, 9 months, 2 days, at the home of his sister Mrs. Reinhold (Sophia Emma Hultgren) Anderson, east of Stratford. Mr. Hultgren came to Wilcox, Penn., from Sweden, in the year 1879. From there he moved to Chicago, Ills., in 1900. Later he removed to Little Falls. At the passing of his brother-in-law, Reinhold Anderson, he remained at the home of his sister until his death.

His passing leaves to mourn, a brother and a sister in Sweden, a brother in Little Falls, Minn., and the sister at whose home he passed away, besides a number of relatives and friends.

Deceased was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran state church in Sweden.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Reinhold Anderson residence and interment was made in the South Marion cemetery. Rev. G. Goransson of the Lutheran church was in charge.
