Raedean Ione Christian, 61, Webster City, died Monday, Jan. 19, 1999 at the Southfield Care Center. Mrs. Christian was cremated and the graveside services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Graceland Cemetery with Rev. Marshall Hoffman officiating. Foster Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Raedean Ione Wilson, daughter of Ray and Edna Johnson Wilson, was born March 15, 1937 at Webster City. She received her education at Toledo, IA and Webster City. On March 7, 1959, she married Harold Thurston Christian at Elk Point, SD. The couple resided at Webster City. She worked at Morton's Frozen Foods and Arrow-Acme for 20 years. She retired in 1995 due to failing health. She had resided at Southfield Care Center for only three days.

She is survived by her husband, Harold, son and daughter-in-law, Duane and Vi Christian, daughter, Donna Wittmaack, all of Webster City; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a sister, Rosella Rhyan, Gillette, WY., several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, David Strain, brother, Carl E. Wilson, and sister, JoeAnn Hass.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, past member of the Rebekahs and the Webster City Moose Lodge.

[some of the obituary was typed with 'Jean' as her middle name but I checked the cemetery and it is 'Ione' so I changed it and her date of birth was missing from the obituary so also added after looking it up at Graceland Cemetery]
