Karen Lee, 58, Williamsburg, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 1999 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral services will be at the United Methodist Church of Williams at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Pacifico Camarin officiating. Graveside services are Monday at 1 p.m. at the West Lawn Cemetery in Lehigh. Visitation will be at the Surls Funeral Home in Williams Sunday from 3-8 p.m. with the family present from 3 to 5 p.m.

Karen Kay Frayne, daughter of Dale and Ruth Watt Frayne, was born July 26, 1940 in Williams. She graduated from Williams High School in 1959. She married Fred Lee on Oct. 22, 1960 at Williams. She worked as a waitress/manager of the Middle America Restaurant in Williamsburg for 20 years, and for the past four years, was a customer service representative for U.S. Cellular in Cedar Rapids.

Survivors are her husband, Fred; two daughters and son-in-law, Margaret and Roy Ronnfeldt, Williams, and Danielle Lee of Williamsburg, two brothers, Jon Frayne of Eden Prairie, MN., Dennis Frayne of Williams, a sister Kathy McGilvary, Dallas, TX, two grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
