Angie Andrew, 83, of Duncombe, formerly of Webster City, died, Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday May 18, 2019 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Pastor Jeff Flagg, officiating. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019 at the funeral home.
Annalien Louise Stadtlander, daughter of Chris and Anna Freeks Stadtlander, was born October 17, 1935 in Hampton. She graduated from Iowa Falls High School in 1953. She married Charles “Curly” Andrew on September 2, 1986 in Webster City. Angie worked at the Rainbow Lounge for 22 years, Nissens and Electrolux until her retirement in 1992.
Angie is survived by her children, Jake (Kim Day) Roberts of Duncombe, Robin (Doug) Ewing of both of Duncombe; step-daughter, Jackie White; three grandchildren, Dustin (RaeAnna) Ewing, Cody (Heather) Ewing, Tanner (Amy) Ewing; nine great-grandchildren, Haley, Chloey, McKynley, Emmersyn, Gabriel, Maxton, Piper, Ezra and Lola; sister-in-law, Delores Tate of Webster City; dog, Emma; special caretakers, Terry Keller, Jill Zabel, Linda Schutt and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, “Curly” Andrew; step-son, Charles “Otis” Andrew; brothers, Ben, John and Lambert Stadtlander; sisters, Hannah Koenan, Doris Kock, Delores Bahnson, Minnie Meints and Leona Floden.
