Geraldine "Jerry" Price, 79, Mesa, AZ., died Thursday, Sept. 17, 1998 at the Desert Samaritan Hospital in Mesa, AZ. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. John Grebner officiating. Burial will be in the Norway Township Cemetery, south of Kanawha. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and prior to the service at the church.

Carol Geraldine Holm, daughter of Gerald and Clara Johnson Holm, was born Oct. 25, 1918 at Kanawha. She attended Eagle Grove Schools and college in Cedar Falls. On Sept. 1, 1940, she married John H. Price at Eagle Grove. The couple resided at Webster City. They opened and operated Price Shoe Repair and Sales. They also sold leather products and did canvas repair. They retired in 1978 and moved to Mesa, AZ.

She is survived by her husband, John, son and daughter-in-law David and Edna Price of Honolulu, HI, daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Keith Bagley of Boise, ID, grandchildren, Tony Hildebrand, Christopher and Kelly Price, Amy Anderson and Andrea Terry, five great grandchildren; a sister, Lillian Rogers of Northwood, brothers Joe and Everett Wagner, both of Eagle Grove, John Wagner of Las Vegas, NV., and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a charter member of the Mary Circle. She also worked with Luther League for seven years.
