Daily Freeman Journal, Webster City, Iowa, Monday, October 5, 1998

WILLIAMS - Beulah Edith Fear, 90, Williams, died Friday, Oct. 2, 1998 at the Hamilton County Hospital in Webster City. Funeral services were held today, Oct. 5 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Williams with Rev. Pacifico Camarin officiating. Burial was in the Williams Cemetery. Surls Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Beulah Edith Fierce was born Sept. 5, 1908 at Van Wert, IA., the daughter of Ebenezer and Edith Sterns Fierce. She attended Van Wert High School and received her teaching certificate from Simpson College. She married Howard "Dolf" Fear on May 18, 1941. She taught school in Williams for 16 years and helped her husband with the H.J. Fear Hardware and Implement Store, retiring in 1973.

Surviving are three nephews and a niece. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, Arthur and Russell Fierce.
