Dan Eide, 49 of Webster City, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 1998 at the Hamilton Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Artrip officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. tonight and prior to the service on Wednesday.

Danny Leon Eide, son of Curtis and Dorothy McIntire Eide, was born July 16, 1949 at the Webster City. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Webster City in 1967. He served in the U.S. Army for two years in the military police. He was the owner and operator of DLE Trucking. He had been a truck driver for 27 years.

Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, David and Jeana Eide of Roanoke, TX; special friend, Denise Gramblin of Webster City; Elaine Brown of Bethel, ME; Linda Wagner, Duncombe; brothers Gaylord Eide of Columbus, GA; Jim Wilson of Gowrie; Dennis Eide of Dallas, TX; Doug and Orvie Eide of Webster City.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Eide was a member of the Teamsters Union.
