Rose Miller, 93, Webster City, died July 16, 2000 at Omaha, Neb. Funeral services will be held Friday at the Foster Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Abbas officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Rose Lena Banning, daughter of Silas and Johanna Landmeyer Banning, was born April 19, 1907 at Decorah. She received her education from Decorah schools. On Oct. 7, 1933 she married Leroy Avery Miller. The couple made their home in Webster City. She worked at Dermand's Cafe until her retirement at the age of 75. Mr. Miller died in 1976.

Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Trish Miller of Olathe, Kan., two daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and James Hanlon of Lincoln, Neb., Dolores and Gordon Thackray of Omaha, Neb., six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a sister Viola Latham of Decorah and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Audrey Lee Miller, two brothers and two sisters.
