Olive Hinton, 99, Webster City, died Friday, July 14, 2000 at Crestview Manor Convalescent Center. A graveside memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Graceland Cemetery with Rev. Ray Artrip officiating. Mrs. [typo - she was unmarried] Hinton was cremated and there will be no visitation. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral Home.

Olive L. Hinton, daughter of Bert and Stella Bell Hinton, was born June 15, 1901 southeast of Iowa Falls. She attended school at Estherville and in 1917 moved with her family to Fort Dodge where she completed her education. She moved to Chicago in 1926 where she worked as a beauty operator. In 1948 she moved to Webster City where she was employed by her brother-in-law at the Stuart Paint Store. She retired in 1974.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Lela Stuart and Hazel Perkins and a brother Bert Hinton.
