Clyde Dickson, 81, rural Williams, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000 at Hamilton Hospital in Webster City. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Williams with burial following in the Williams cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Williams with the family present at that time.

Clyde E. Dickson, Jr., son of Clyde and Alda Miller Dickson, was born August 30, 1918 at Anita. He graduated in 1936 from Washington Township School near Perry. He married Ruth Irene Kellogg on June 20, 1943 at the United Methodist Church in Williams. He was a farmer and a seed salesman with Middlekoop/Sansguard.

Mr. Dickson was a past member of the Radcliffe Coop Elevator Board, was interested in 4-H cattle and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Williams.

Survivors are his wife, Ruth, one son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Jean Dickson of Germantown, TN., a daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Delmon Carter, Williams; five grandchildren, Conan Dickson, Baltimore, MD., Murray Dickson, Birmingham, AL., Joy Timm of Williams, Michelle Carter, Iowa Falls [grandson David Carter missing from this obit]; four great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Jaidyn, Jerryn and Justyn Timm, Williams; two nieces, Carolyn Johnson, Marengo and Agnes Neff, Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Evelyn Miller and Anita Olson.
