Mrs. Luella L. Frye, 52, longtime Webster City resident, died Wednesday evening at her home west of Duncombe.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. R.M. Roden officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.

Luella Lozille Lee, daughter of George Edward and Ida McFarland Lee, Sr., was born Feb. 9, 1924 in Lehigh, Iowa where she was reared and educated.

On Dec. 13, 1946 she was united in marriage to Elvin Frye, and the couple lived in the Webster City area.

For the past 10 years, she had been residing at the Roy Gaskill home near Duncombe.

She is survived by her husband; five daughters and three sons, Mrs. Michael (Connie) Crawford, Joyce Frye, Janice Frye and Pamela Frye, all of Webster City; Robin Frye of Duncombe; Franklin Frye and Melvin Frye both of Webster City and Rodney Frye of Duncombe; and seven grandchildren.

She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Ida Lee of Webster City; three brothers and three sisters; Newt Lee, Clarion, Orville Lee, Stratford, George Lee, Jr., of Webster City, Mrs. Bernie (Beatrice) Fortune and Mrs. Glen (Lorraine) Wilson, both of Webster City and Mrs. Lee (Jane) Croxell of Walworth, Wis.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Richard Balsley in 1968; her father; one brother and one sister.

Mrs. Frye was a member of the Otho Saddle Club and the R.C. Rodeo club.
