Berneda Larson, 77, of Webster City, died Monday, March 22, 1999 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Webster City, with Revs. John Grebner and Doug Bullock-Tiffany officiating. Burial will be in the Dows Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and at the church prior to the service.

Berneda Corrine Skrovig, daughter of Iver and Emma Swenson Skrovig, was born February 12, 1922 on a farm southeast of Williams. She attended rural schools in that area and graduated from Dows high school in 1941. On August 4, 1946 she married Arthur Larson at Dows. The couple resided in Dows. In 1950, they moved to Webster City. She was a homemaker. Mr. Larson died December 20, 1998.

Mrs. Larson is survived by daughters, Beth Larson of Manhattan Beach, MN., and Susan Larson of Altoona; son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Diane Larson of Urbandale; granddaughters, Chelsey and Rachelle Larson of Urbandale; sisters, Ione Alvestad of Ellsworth and Treva Koop of Kamrar; brothers, Sylvanus (Sonny) Skrovig of Tallahassee, FL., and Truman (Buddy) Skrovig of Dows; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Esther (Babe) Buhler and Joyce Meyer.

She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Naomi Circle and Tuesday Bible Study.
