Theodore D. Wertz, 50, Webster City, died March 22, 1999 at University Hospitals at Omaha, NE. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday at North Lawn Cemetery, Fort Dodge. Visitation will be after 9:30 a.m. on Monday at the Gunderson Funeral Home.

Survivors are his son, Ted Wertz of Jewell, father Glen C. Wertz of Baxter, sister Sheryll Staples of Jewell and brother Charles Wertz of Minneapolis.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Wertz, and a sister, Carolyn Wertz Bailey.

Theodore D. Wertz was born April 19, 1948 at Fort Dodge. He attended Fort Dodge schools and was employed at Frigidaire in Webster City for more than 20 years.
