Vivian Oppedahl, 81, Webster City, died Friday, Dec. 24, 1999 at the Hamilton Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Foster Funeral Home, with Pastor Ray Artrip officiating. Cremation will follow the services and the ashes will be buried in the Evergreen Cemetery at Jewell, at a later date. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday prior to the service.

Vivian Oppedahl, daughter of Olaus and Anna Doane Oppedahl, was born June 19, 1918 at Jewell. She attended school at Jewell and graduated in 1936. In the early 1940's, she moved to Webster City. She operated a home cleaning business in the Webster City area.

Survivors are a brother Olaus Oppedahl of LaMirada, CA., a sister, Irene Winchell of St. Louis, MO., and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters, Alvin, Ronald, Marvin, Jessie, Lacey and Charles Oppedahl and Bonnie Lovett and Lenora Fetterly.

She was a member of the Church of Christ and of the Royal Neighbors of America.
