Donald Barkema, 74, Jewell, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999 at the Hubbard Care Center in Hubbard. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Jewell with Rev. Dale R. Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Jewell. Friends may call Friday afternoon and evening at Becker Funeral Home in Jewell, with the family present from 7 to 9 p.m.
