Fern Shefko, 81, Vacaville, CA., died Friday, Oct. 22, 1999 at a care center in Valejo, CA. Private graveside services will be held Thursday at Graceland Cemetery, with Pastor Ray Artrip officiating. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral Home.

Fern Evelyn Bradbury, daughter of Sidney and Margie Hall Bradbury, was born in Illinois on Oct. 1, 1928. She was educated in Illinois. She married Irvin Hassinger and they resided in Illinois. On March 20, 1962 she married Raymond Shefko at Carlsbad, CA. They resided at Bellflower, CA. In 1975, they moved to Webster City. Mr. Shefko died August 18, 1984. She moved to Leisure Town at Vacaville, CA in 1986.

Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Dale Keller of Webster City, son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Virginia Hassinger, Fairfield, CA., grandchildren Pam Brockman, Clarion, Dale LeAnn Stuhr, Webster City, Teri Schorzmann, Woolstock, Christian and Richard Hassinger, Fairfield, CA., Troy Hassinger, Sacramento, CA., Kelly Hassinger, Decatur, IL., 10 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Larrie Dean Hassinger and seveal brothers and sisters.
