Louise Bicknese, 81, Williams, died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 1999 at Hamilton Hospital. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Williams with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery, Jewell. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. at Surls Funeral Home in Williams.

Louise Bicknese, daughter of Henry and Wilhelmina Ropa Meyer, was born Sept. 30, 1918. She attended Stanwood Country School. She married Ira H. Bicknese on Feb. 14, 1938 at Stanwood. She had worked at Land O'Lakes in Ellsworth and then at the Best Western Motel and Boondocks Motel in Williams. She was a member of the Williams Women's Club and St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Williams.

Survivors are two daughters, Joan and Roger Barkema of Jewell, Connie and Gene George of Williams, a son and daughter-in-law, Ben and Joyce Bicknese of Iowa Falls, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren; sister Irene Laing of Stanwood, two sisters-in-law, Amber Kelling of Wheatland and Marie Meyer of Stanwood.
