Jay Anderberg, 47, Webster City, died Thursday, Oct. 21, 1999 at the Hamilton Hospital. Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Amsterdam Cemetery, west of Kanawha, with Rev. Joan Skryme officiating. Mr. Anderberg was cremated and there will be no visitation. The family will receive friends in their home.

Jay Stanley Anderberg, son of Stanley and Ardella Severson Anderberg, was born April 15, 1952 at Mason City. He graduated from Mason City high school and attended NIACC in Mason City. He then attended Iowa State University where he received a degree in Botany and Wildlife. On Feb. 23, 1991 he married Nancy Groom Helland at Rowan. The couple resided in Kamrar, then Webster City. He had been employed at Frigidaire for nine years.

Survivors are his wife, Nancy, step-sons Michael Helland in the U.S. Navy in Virginia, Christopher Helland of Fontana, CA., his mother, Ardella Anderberg of Mason City, brother, Jim Anderberg of Vienna, ME., sister, Vicki French of Mason City, two nieces and a great nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Anderberg was a member of the United Church of Rowan.
