Zola Blue, 88, Kirkwood, MO., died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1999 at St. Joseph Hospital in Kirkwood. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Foster Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Bullock-Tiffany officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Saturday until service time.

Zola M. Kennedy, daughter of Leon and Rachel McComb Kennedy, was born Oct. 23, 1910 at Kamrar. She was educated at Kamrar and also attended a college. On June 16, 1930 she married Raymond L. Blue at Webster City. the couple resided in Webster City for two years, then moved to St. Louis, MO. She was a homemaker. Mr. Blue died Dec. 26, 1984. She continued to reside in Missouri.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Donald Mrkacek of Warrenton, MO., a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Jean Blue of Manchester, MO; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brother, Lee Kennedy of Fort Dodge.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Kenneth, Marvin, Warren and Jay Kennedy.

She was a member of the Concordia Lutheran Church in Maplewood, MO.
