Carl "Babe" Fay Wulkau, 82, Carson City, NV., died Sept. 14, 1999 at Carson Tahoe Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted by the J.T. Oswald Mortuary in Reseda, CA. Walton's Chapel of the Valley was in charge of arrangements.

Carl Fay Wulkau, son of Carl and Pauline Sprugel Wulkau, was born Oct. 28, 1916 in Webster City. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942-1945 and left the service with the rank of staff sergeant. He worked as a meat cutter for Vons Supermarket, Dales Grocery and Harrison's J&W Meats for 32 years. He was a life member of the VFW and a member of the St. Peters Episcopal Church in Carson City. He moved to Carson City in November of 1994, coming from Newbury Park, CA.

Survivors are his wife, Mary of Carson City, NV., daughter Carla Cracer of Saugus, CA., sisters-in-law Phyllis Walters of Burbank, CA., and Mildred Wulkau, Williams, three grandchildren and five nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
