Garnette Lobaugh, 83, Webster City, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 1999 at Crestview Manor Care center. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Foster Funeral Home with Rev. Gregory Bock officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home and prior to the services on Sunday.

Garnette Goldeen Middleton, daughter of Roy and Myrtle Allen Middleton, was born December 29, 1916 in Centerville. She graduated from Centerville High School and attended AIB in Des Moines. On April 16, 1938 she married Clifford Lobaugh in Missouri. The couple farmed near Nevada. They moved to a farm southeast of Blairsburg. They retired in 1969. The couple had resided at Crestview Apartments for two months.

Survivors are her husband, Clifford, son and daughter-in-law, Garry and Diane Lobaugh, Baroda, MI., grandchildren, Molly, Christopher, Timothy and Caroline Lobaugh; sisters, Ruby Vidas, Centerville, Donna Armstrong, Anabel, MO., brothers, Robert Middleton of Palm Springs Gardens, FL., Jack Middleton of Moravia; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Floyd, Archie, La Verne and Harold Middleton, sisters, Elaine Kimmon and Seve Kondy.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ Congregational of Blairsburg and church circles.
