Dawn A. Schwandt, 38, Mount Ayr, formerly of Duncombe, died Saturday, August 28, 1999 at the Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr. Funeral services will be held at the Wilson-Watson & Armstrong Funeral Home in Mount Ayr on Wednesday, 1 p.m. with Rev. Charles Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Mount Ayr. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Tuesday with family visitation from 7-8 p.m.

Dawn A. Richardson, daughter of Robert W. and Georgene Nelson Richardson, was born Jan. 11, 1961 at Fort Dodge. On Sept. 15, 1979 she married Douglas Schwandt at Webster City. They lived in Mount Ayr since 1991 and previously had resided in Boone and Duncombe. She worked as a nurses aid for Clearview Home in Mount Ayr.

Survivors are her husband, Douglas, Mount Ayr, parents, Richard and Georgene Richardson, Duncombe, daughter, Tiffany of Osceola, son Jarrod of Mount Ayr, brothers and sisters-in-law, DeWayne and Tammy Richardson of Webster City, Doyle and Lori Richardson of Webster City; in-law, Jean Schwandt, Webster City, Dick and Margie Schwandt, Texas.
