Franklin L. Carey, Jr., 73, of Westminster, CO., died Friday, July 23, 1999 at Park Forest Care Center in Westminster, CO. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Graceland Cemetery, with Cindi O'Brien, associate minister, officiating. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral Home from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday.

Franklin L. Carey, Jr., son of Frank and Nettie Cater Carey, was born February 19, 1926 at Miller, South Dakota. He received his education in South Dakota and at West High School in Denver, CO. Mr. Carey's main vocation was arranging window displays for retail stores in the Colorado area. He retired because of failing health.

He is survived by cousins; Marjorie Alexander of Littleton, CO., Geneva Cupp of Webster City, Marvin Alexander of Omaha, Mildred Graham of Tigrid, OR.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother in infancy and a sister, Betty Carey.
