Arthur Lehman, 86, Webster City, died Saturday, July 24, 1999 at the Southfield Care Center, Webster City. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster Funeral Home with Rev. John Grebner officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to service time Tuesday.

Arthur Lehman, son of Emil and Frieda Schultz Lehman, was born Nov. 26, 1912 on a farm in Beaver Township of Humboldt County, he attended rural schools in that area. In May of 1959, he married Jennie Viola Layton at Blue Earth, MN. The couple resided in Webster City. He worked at the Seneca Foundry, retiring in 1972. His wife died on April 1, 1999.

Survivors are his daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Kirt Fitzner, Lakewood, CO; grandchildren, Don Fitzner, Lakewood, CO., Rebecca Fitzner, Orange, CA., Anne Kromminga, Littleton, CO., great-grandsons, Titus and Caleb Kromminga, step-children, Karen Strunk, Norman Elsberry, Gary Elsberry and Nancy Weiner, all of Webster City; Norma Strunk, Fort Dodge, Sylvia Strom, Council Bluffs; 20 step-grandchildren, several step-great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, step-children, Lola and Dean Elsberry, seven brothers and sisters.
