Clifford Melvin Culmer, 74, of Ashland, Ore., died Wednesday, May 21, at the Medford, Ore., Rogue Valley hospital.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Litwiller Funeral Chapel at Ashland with the Ashland Elks lodge officiating. Cremation has been held.

Mr. Culmer was born Sept. 24, 1905 at Woolstock, Iowa and was reared and educated in that community.

On June 24, 1931 he married Elizabeth Hazel Neff at Webster City and the couple moved to Ashland in July, 1931.

Mr. Culver was a member of the Ashland Elks lodge and was a remodeling contractor.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Charles Culmer of Ashland and Clifford H. Culmer, San Jose, Calif.; one daughter, Carita Culmer of Phoenix, Ariz.; two brothers, Maynard Culmer, King City, Ore., and Lyle Culmer of Winfield, Kans., two sisters, Eva Stauffer of Talent, Ore., and Irene Sadler, Eagle Grove, Iowa; four granddaughters and two grandsons.
