Juanita (Cricket) Lawson, 67, Webster City, died Wednesday, June 9, 1999 at Hamilton Hospital. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Foster Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Morgan officiating. Burial will be in the Alden Cemetery in Alden. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. Sunday and prior to the service on Monday.

Juanita Mae Burns, daughter of Earl and Helen Davenport Burns, was born May 17, 1932 at Paw Paw, IL. She received her education in Minnesota and Iowa schools. On Nov. 22, 1952 she married Raymond Lawson at Alden. The couple farmed near Williams for 9 years. They moved to Glendale, CA., where they resided for 37 years. In January of 1995, they moved to Webster City. She was a homemaker.

Survivors are her husband, Raymond; daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Phillip Baumgarner of Auburn, CA., Debra and Bob Cassday of Miles City, MT., son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Krista Lawson of Webster City, grandchildren Raymond Lawson, Stephanie Williams, Jason Williams, Lindsey Lawson and Rylee Lawson, great-granddaughter, Dana Dickinson; sisters, Yvonne Hamilton of Beloit, WI., Inez Peterson, Algona, Donna Bronniche of Minneapolis; Barbara Anderson, Webster City; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son James Kenneth Lawson and sister, Blanche McConnell.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church at Glendale.
