Jane Fisher, 53, Webster City, died Wednesday, May 12, 1999 at the Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Church of Christ with Pastor Ray Artrip officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the church.

Jane Ann Fisher, daughter of Everett and Zora Sweazey Fisher, was born March 8, 1946 at Webster City. She graduated from Webster City High School in 1964, she received a BA degree from Ozark Bible College in Christian Education in 1968. On July 5, 1982 she married Bob. E. Adkins at Joplin, MO. The couple resided in Joplin, Lincoln, NE and Oklahoma City, OK. In 1982, she received her LPN from Joplin Community College. She had worked at St. John's Hospital in Joplin, St. Anthony's in Oklahoma City and various nursing homes. The couple divorced in 1986. She moved to Webster City in 1989. She retired due to failing health.

Survivors are a daughter, Renae E. Behr, son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Cassandra Adkins, all of Webster City, eight grandchildren, her mother, Zora Fisher of Webster City, two brothers, Milton Fisher of Colorado Springs and Martin Fisher of Des Moines; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, a brother Dennis Fisher and a nephew, Troy Fisher.

She was a member of the Church of Christ and past president of the Women's Fellowship.
