Mildred M. Williams, 89, Woolstock, died Monday, Feb. 15, 1999 at the Crestview Manor Nursing Home in Webster City. Funeral services will be held at the Willim Funeral Home in Eagle Grove on Friday, Feb. 19 at 2 p.m. with Oscar Davis, CLS., officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove.

Mildred Mary Crovisier, daughter of Charles and Mary Kastler Crovisier, was born April 28, 1909 near Eagle Grove. She was married to Robert Williams on June 4, 1933 in Stanhope. She taught country school in Wright and Hamilton Counties for 20 years with an additional 14 years in the Eagle Grove School System. She retired in 1972. She also worked in the Woolstock Telephone office, and was secretary of the Woolstock School Board and worked on the election board for many years. She was a 50 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary, a member of the Woolstock Methodist Church and the Ban de la Roche French Club.

Survivors are her husband, Bob, a daughter Mary Jean Ciemiewicz, Colorado Springs, CO.; two grandchildren, Brett Davis of Seattle and Denise Chase of Atlantic, IA., three great-grandchildren; one brother Fred Crovisier, and one sister, Ethel Horton of Fort Dodge. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Clarence, Harry, John and Milford, and a sister Margaret.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hamilton County Public Health, Webster City, or the American Cancer Society.
