Mrs. Floyd (Ollie) Swedlund of rural Stratford died early Saturday evening at the Boone County Hospital where she had been a patient for the past three weeks. Funeral services were Tuesday, July 25, at the South Marion Church with the Rev. Raymond L. Johnson officiating. Burial was at the South Marion Cemetery.

Ollie Hannah Stromberg, daughter of Rev. K.A. and Hannah Carlson Stromberg, was born in St. Louis, Missouri, graduated from Omaha University and taught school in Nebraska.

On June 20, 1928 she was united in marriage to Floyd R. Swedlund and for the past 50 years the couple has farmed southeast of Stratford.

She is survived by her husband, two sons and one daughter; Robert of Paton, Dale of Newton, Doris Swedlund of Sacramento. Four grandchildren and two brothers, Leonard Stromberg of Berkeley, Calif. and Rev. Carl Stromberg of Janesville, Wis. She was preceded in death by both parents and two brothers.

She was a member of the South Marion Chuch. She was Sunday School teacher for several years in that church.
