MRS. HENRY STROMERT

Funeral services for Elin A. Stromert were held at the Schroeder Funeral home at Boone, and the South Marion Methodist Church, Thursday, June 20, with the Rev. Andrew Heddle officiating. Mrs. Arthur Larson, vocalist, sang "Be Still My Heart" and "The Lord's Prayer" accompanied by Mrs. Vincel Crim.

Pallbearers were Fred Patterson, Charles Smith, Axel Spong, Olaf Hanson, Kenneth Carlson and Arthur Patterson. Burial was in the South Marion cemetery.

Elin A., daughter of Alfred and Augusta Lindberg, was born September 29, 1889 in Hamilton County, Ia., and died at the Boone County hospital Sunday, June 16, 1957.

She was united in marriage to Henry Stromert, February 22, 1911, and to this union two children were born.

Survivors include her husband, Henry Stromert; a daughter, Inez Stromert, of Des Moines, Ia.; a sister, Jenny Butman of Los Angeles, Calif.; two brothers, Clarence Lindberg of Valparaiso, Ind., and Harold Lindberg of Gowrie, Ia.; and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Stromert was preceded in death by a son, LaVerne, who died in 1939.
