Daughter of Edward & Ellen (Peterson) Nelson, was born on a farm south of Stratford and graduated from Stratford School in 1923. On Aug. 25, 1926, she married Reuben Sealine at Webster City. The couple farmed southwest of Stanhope. In 1977 they retired and moved to an acreage east of Stratford. Following her husband's death in Feb. 1985, she continued to reside in Stratford until 14 months ago when she moved to Des Moines to live with her son.

She is survived by sons, Donald, Dexter, Clinton of Des Moines and Nyle of Princeton, Mo.; daughter, Charlotte Jensen, Arvada, Colo; 15 grandchildren and 10 g-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one grandson, her parents, one brother and one sister.
