BESSIE MAE RAINE

Bessie Mae Raine, 94, of the Evangelical Free Church Home, died Oct. 9, 1981, at the home. She was born May 28, 1887 in Boone.

Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Stark-Welin Chapel with burial in the South Marion Cemetery. Friends may call at the Stark-Welin Funeral Home Monday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. until time of service.

BESSIE RAINE

Bessie Mae Raine, 94, resident of the Evangelical Free Church Home, died Oct. 9, 1981, at the home. She was born May 28, 1887 in Boone, the daughter of Erick and Hannah (Lund) Peterson. She married George Brands at Reno, Nev., after his death, she married John Raine, Sept. 2, 1961.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, three brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include a sister, Florence Wolf, a resident of the Eastern Star Home, Boone; a nephew, Raymond W. Peterson, Boone; a niece, Gretchen Sandahl and a number of great nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m., at the Stark-Welin Chapel with Reverend E. Walter Lindgren officiating. Burial will be at the South Marion Cemetery. Friends may call at the Stark-Welin Funeral Home Monday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m. until time of service.
