Funeral services for Miss Myrtle Quick, 67, were held Tuesday, May 12 in the Calvary Methodist Church in Stratford. Rev. Walter Phelps officiated and interment was held in the South Marion Cemetery. The Hanson Funeral Home of Stratford was in charge of the arrangements.

Miss Quick passed away Saturday, May 9 at the home of a friend, Mrs. Dalton Shubert in Vina, Alabama. She had been visiting there for several months. She had been in ill health for several years.

She was born November 18, 1896 at Stratford where she grew up and was employed as a practical nurse and also in restaurant work. He closer relatives are several cousins.
