STRATFORD - Irene Poulson, 86, of Stratford died Wednesday at the Stratford Care Center.
Services will be Friday, April 2, at 1:30 p.m. at the Calvary United Methodist Church of Stratford with the Rev. Richard Russell officiating. Burial is to be in the South Marion Cemetery south of Stratford.
Friends may call at the Hanson-Stark-Welin Funeral Home in Stratford Thursday from 4 until 9 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until noon when they body will be taken to the church.
Survivors include two daughters, Ardell (Mrs. Arlow) Johnson of Pilot Mound and Maurine (Mrs. Leon) Stark of Stratford, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, who died in 1965, and two brothers.
Mrs. Poulson was born in Stratford June 25, 1895, the daughter of Charles and Hannah [Hall] Teander. June 4, 1917, she married Lester Poulson at Fort Dodge.
She had lived all her life in the Stratford community and was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church of Stratford and the Faith Circle of that church.
