POULSON

Frank Ferlin Poulson, 83, Stratford, died Sept. 25, 1982 at the Stratford Care Center. He was born Dec. 5, 1898 in Stratford, the son of John and Lorena [Ferlin] Poulson. He married Esther Marie Malmberg, Nov. 15, 1924 at Valparaiso, Ind.

Poulson was a Stratford businessman for 50 years, and was employed by the Stratford Grain and Supply Co-op for 20 years. He was an Army Veteran of World War I, and a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, the Masonic Acorn Lodge No. 601 AF&AM, and the American Legion Fredrick Sonksen Post 576.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Esther, a brother and a sister.

Survivors include a son, Robert D. of Littleton, Colo., three grandchildren, Richard, Thomas and John; two brothers, Ellis of Denver, Colo. and Iven of Gridley, Calif.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Calvary United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Richard Russell officiating. Burial will be in the South Marion Cemetery, with military graveside services by the American Legion Fredrick Sonksen Post 576.

Friends may call at the Hanson-Stark-Welin Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until noon Tuesday.
