May 15, 1947Boone County Farmer Dies
Erick Peterson, a well known farmer in Boone county for 50 years, suffered a fatal heart attack at his country home in Ontario on Wednesday morning. Mr. Peterson who was 87 years old was born in Sweden and had been in this country since 1869. He had made his home in the vicinity of Ontario since 1923.
A prayer service will be held at the Adams Funeral home in Ames Friday at 1 p.m. and funeral services at the South Marion Methodist church at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be in the South Marion cemetery.
Friends may call at the Adams Funeral home Thursday evening between the hours of 7 and 9.
