COUNTY MAN FOUND DEAD

Elmer Peterson, 55, Stratford Farmer, Discovered in Garage

Elmer Peterson, 55, was found dead last {unreadable] the garage at his farm residence four miles northeast of Stratford.

Dr. George A. Paschal, Williams, county coroner, said death apparently was caused by carbon monoxide poisoning, adding that it appeared to be a case of suicide.

Mrs. Peterson found her husband lying on the floor of the garage at the rear of their car when she returned home from Jewell about 10:30 o'clock, the coroner said. She said the motor of the car was not running when she made the discovery, Dr. Paschal said.
