Services held for Alvin Peel, 67
Saturday, Jan. 4

Alvin Peel, 67, passed away early Thursday, January 2 at his home in Stratford. Funeral services were held for Mr. Peel at 2:00 p.m. in the Hanson Funeral Home at Stratford. Rev. Harold Richardson, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiated. Interment was held in the South Marion Cemetery.

Mr. Peel was born and raised in the Adel, Iowa area. He had lived most of his adult life in the Stratford area and worked as a day laborer.

Survivors include one brother, Alan Peel of Stratford and one sister, Mrs. Oscar (Nora) Erickson of Stratford.
