Services Held for Mr. Arthur Peel

Funeral services for Arthur Peel, 66, who died Thursday at the Veterans Hospital in Des Moines were held Sun., Feb. 1 in the Hanson Funeral Home in Stratford with Rev. Robert Ruppert officiating. Burial was in the South Marion Cemetery.

Mr. Peel served in World War I and was a member of the Frederick Sonksen Post of the American Legion. The American Legion conducted the military rites at the cemetery.

Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Oscar Erickson (Nora), Stratford, Mrs. Agnes Phool of Burlington, and Mrs. Ethel Chinstedt of Stratford, and three brothers, Allan, Alvin and Frank all of Stratford.

He was preceded in death by his parents [son of Joseph & Mary Elizabeth Steiner Peel].
