SOUTH MARION (Special) - Ernest J. Myers, 57, of Webster City, died at the Hamilton County Hospital early Monday morning, Jan. 22. He was admitted to the hospital two weeks ago following a heart attack, suffered while at work with the Hamilton County Highway Commission.

The late Mr. Myers was born in Minnesota, and moved with his family to Stratford in 1949. He moved from Stratford to Stanhope in 1954 and then to Webster City in 1956.

Survivors include his widow, Maxine [Dahl]; 3 sons, Ernest Myers, Jr. (Bud) of Cedar Rapids, James of Blairsburg, and John Myers, a student at Iowa State University; 3 daughters, Mrs. Carroll (Mary) Knickerbocker of California, Mrs. Tom (Dorothy) Smith of Webster City, and Miss Cheryl Myers at home; and several grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Calvary Baptist Church at Webster City, Wednesday, Jan. 24, at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Segarstrom in charge.

Graveside services will be conducted at the South Marion Cemetery, located south of Stratford.
