Maxine Myers, 81, Webster City, died June 30, 1995 at the Hamilton County Public Hospital in Webster City, Iowa. Funeral services were held Monday, July 3, 1995 at the Foster Funeral Home in Webster City, the Rev. Henry Jensen officiating. Burial was at the South Marion Cemetery southeast of Stratford.

Maxine Dorothy Dahl was born December 29, 1913 on a farm near Willmar, MN. She attended school at Willmar. In 1935 she married Ernest Julius Lawrence Myers at Willmar, MN. The couple resided at Willmar. In 1949, they moved to a farm near Stratford, and in 1956, they moved to Webster City. Her husband died in 1968. She was employed for 12 years at the Fuhs Bakery in Webster City. She resided at the Gowrie Care Center for eight months. For the past three weeks, she resided at the Southfield Care Center in Webster City.

She is survived by sons, Ernest Myers, Des Moines, James Myers, Decatur, IL., John Myers, Portage, WI.; daughters, Mary Knickerbocker, Williams, Dorothy Smith, Webster City, Cheryl Alt, Jacksonville, TX.; 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two brothers; two sisters.

She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
