Funeral Rites at Stratford

STRATFORD - Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon for Albert J. Jernquist, 78, who died Sunday at the Story City Memorial Hospital following a two-week illness.

Services will be at 1:30 at the Jernquist home and at 2 o'clock at the Lutheran church with the Rev. F.W. Hanson officiating. Burial will be in South Marion Cemetery.

Mr. Jernquist was preceded in death by his wife [Freda Berglund]. Surviving are four daughters and two sons: Mrs. Arnold (Edith) Tweed of Pequot Lake, Minn.; Mrs. (Mable) Nelson of Story City; Mrs. Harold (Margaret) Fohlin of Stratford; Mrs. Lyle (Betty) Wahman of Stratford, and Carl and Hjelmer Jernquist, both at home.

Albert Jernquist Rites In Stratford Yesterday

Last rites were held yesterday, Wednesday, February 11, for Albert J. Jernquist, 78 years old, of Stratford. Pastor Hanson of the Lutheran Church of Stratford officiated at the service. Swanson and Carson was in charge of arrangements. Burial was made in the South Marion Church Cemetery, located south of Stratford.
